Property located near to CBD. Has facilities for laundry and easy walk to central and main centre. Rooms are decent and pretty great / reasonable for price. Rooms was serviced daily and when asking staff for needs and extra towels, toiletries they always accommodated with a smile and would asked if there was anything else I needed. Service always friendly and with a push of a button someone always responds to you at the reception desk. Grounds are well kept. I found it really comforting to know coming back to my room everyday you get a good night sleep despite the walls being quite thin. (I guess that would depend on the guests at the time). Also travelling on my own towards the end of my trip it is quite a communal place - so I felt safe and it would be good for families. I would definitely stay there again. For the price I found it okay. If you’re expecting 5 star for a cheap price then this probably would not be suitable accommodation for you.

The instructions for access to our room after hours were very clear. The room was exceptionally clean, but since our stay was the beginning of winter, we would have appreciated an electric blanket on the bed. The air conditioner warmed the room quickly though. The towels were large, soft and changed daily. Breakfast is not offered, but the room is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Our room had a view through a stain-glassed window to Mt Wellington (kunanyi). Access to the top of the tower was fun for sensing the history of the reception area and providing a vista over Hobart city, and the Derwent River.

Room was quiet, spacious. Good natural light. Shower head was excellent. Handy that it had the sofa for placing bags and other items. Was given extra bedroom with 3 single beds but that was unnecessary, so I hope a family didn't miss out on being able to book at this accommodation. Loved the handy location, between CBD and New Town 24x7 shops, and close to Nth Hobart dining precinct, and there was always good onsite parking available.

Staff were super friendly and efficient, room was spotless, had a comfy bed and had everything we needed. Most importantly the water pressure in the shower was great! 😃 It was so cool being able to go up into the tower and have a look at the view! Traffic noise wasn't too bad either despite being close to the highway - the convenience of location, room quality, price and staff made the stay great.

I have stayed here on and off for decades. It is conveniently located just off the main road into the city, yet well insulated, so quiet and comfy. Window(s) can be opened--a priority for me. The rooms are always very clean and well thought out, with everything needed for one's stay. (There is even a coin-operated laundry on the premises.) This motel offers good value for money.
